Wine tasting, silent auction and dancing are planned.
LEWISTON – Sandcastle Preschool Program Foundation, a private nonprofit United Way agency located at 144 Howe St., will celebrate its 10th anniversary from 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday, April 8, at the Fireside Inn and Suites in Auburn.
The evening will offer a wine tasting event, silent auction and dancing. Tickets are $15 a person or $25 a couple. They can be purchased in advance by calling 782-2150 or purchased at the door.
Proceeds from the evening will be used to purchase materials and equipment for the preschool.
Sandcastle provides early childhood education and early intervention services in the form of speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and developmental therapy to children birth through age 5. There are approximately 125 families receiving services on a weekly basis.
The mission is to offer inclusionary-based early childhood education and intervention to all children.
