RANGELEY – The wedding of Meghann Lyons and Derek Derosier was held on Oct. 8 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Derosier is the daughter of Dr. Christie James of Farmington and Tony Lyons and Brenda Chandler of Auburn. Mr. Derosier is the son of Jim and Twink Derosier of Presque Isle.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a gown of handcrafted silk with pearl detailing and she carried a bouquet of Calla lilies.

Twin sister of the bride, Ruth Lyons, was maid of honor, and Jordan Powers, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. Isabel Pearson and Cecilia Guerra, nieces of the bridegroom, were flower girls.

Jamie Derosier performed the duties of best man for his brother, and ushers were Aaron Lyons, brother of the bride, and Wade Faulkingham, stepbrother of the bride.

A reception followed at the Rangeley Inn, after which the couple went on a Caribbean cruise. They are residing in Bangor.

The bride is a graduate of Maine School of Science and Mathematics and Rochester Institute of Technology and is currently a third-year medical student at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Presque Isle High School and served in the U.S. Army 25th Infantry Division, including a recent tour of duty in Iraq. He is currently employed at L.L. Bean.
