Club Richelieu

AUBURN – The local chapter of Club Richelieu International will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Rolandeau’s Restaurant, 775 Washington St.

President Guy Pelletier will preside, with the possibility of a speaker on the program. Members are invited.

Friendship Night

AUBURN – Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St. Friendship Night will honor District 4 chapters and sideliners.

The meeting will be preceded by a potluck supper at 6:15 p.m. All Eastern Star members are welcome.

Open house

AUBURN – Danville Junction Grange will hold its annual open house on Thursday, April 13. Dessert will be served at 6 p.m. and the program will begin at 7. Musical numbers will be performed by Cindy Morin of Androscoggin Grange and Caroline Young of Danville Junction Grange.

State Master Steven Verrill will be present to award membership certificates to long-standing members. A community citizen award will be presented as well as an appreciation certificate to a member. The public is invited.

Book swap

LISBON – Lisbon Community School PTO will hold its second annual book swap from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, in the school cafetorium, 33 Mill St.

Students are to bring in a maximum of three books to their teachers by Friday, April 14. The night of the book swap the students will receive tickets that correspond with the number of books they turned in. The swap is free and open to all school students.

There will be a parent book swap table on the night of the event. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 353-4132, ext. 471
