Egg hunt
FARMINGTON – The Farmington Fire Department Benevolent Association is organizing the annual Easter Egg Hunt to be held Saturday, April 15. Doors will open at 8 a.m. and the egg hunt will start at 9.
The hunt will take place in the field at Cascade Brook School. The children will range from age 2 to 10.
The association has asked businesses and community people to contribute something that could be used as a door prize or donation. For more information, call Abbie Davenport at 491-5786.
Planning workshop
WILTON – The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will present a workshop, “The Essentials of College Planning,” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at the Wilton Career Center, 865 Route 2. Center adviser Christy Le will lead the workshop.
The center helps adult students to overcome class, social, academic and cultural barriers to higher education. Services include assistance in choosing a college, tutoring, and assistance in applying for financial aid.
