FARMINGTON – “The Centurion” by Norman E. Curtis, an Easter presentation, will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday, April 15, 16 and 17, at the New Baptist Church, 268 Perham St.

The story takes the centurion who, at the foot of Jesus’ cross, cried out, “Truly this man was the Son of God!,” on an investigative journey. Through the use of special lighting effects, the audience will join the centurion in flashback scenes as he talks with those who knew Jesus Christ when He walked on this earth.

The 28-member cast has been working on the project since January. The part of the centurion will be portrayed by Isaac Wildrick of Industry. The rest of the cast and choir includes Ashley Bridges, Dexter Bridges, Shyla Bridges, Theresa Bridges, Tom Charles, Dennica Decker, Ken Decker, Steven Decker Jr., JoAnne Doyle, Kirk Doyle, Cynthia Fairley, Harold Field, Cheryl Hebert, Valerie Johnson, John Jones, Sue Jones, Julie Lyon, Warren Lyon, Chris Phillips, Charlotte Randall, Brian Rebert, Rebekah Rebert, Jonathan Rebert, Sandi Rebert, Heidi Wildrick, Kim Yates and Max Yates.
