FARMINGTON – Literacy Volunteers of Franklin and Somerset Counties will conduct its annual major used book sale on Saturday and Sunday, April 29 and 30, at the Elks Lodge, School Street, West Farmington.
Thousands of titles will be available on numerous subjects. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 29 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 30.
Prices will range from $1 for hard covers and 25 cents for paperbacks, or five for $1. On Sunday, everything will be $1 a bag.
Located in Farmington, Literacy Volunteers of Franklin and Somerset Counties provides literacy services for adults by connecting them with volunteer tutors.
The agency holds the community book sale event as a fundraiser and to help generate awareness for learners and volunteers to contact them for information or assistance.
