NORWAY – The Women’s Fellowship of the Second Congregational Church, UCC of Norway will hold a High Tea for Mothers Day at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13.
The elegant afternoon English Tea will include antique tea cups, fancy tea cakes and finger sandwiches and a fashion show of vintage reproduction dresses and accessories created by Bethany Allen as well as some authentic pieces from the past.
The cost is $5 each in advance or $6 at the door. Advance tickets may be purchased at the church from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday. All are invited.
All proceeds will benefit the Women’s Fellowship of the church. Anyone who has vintage parasols, dressmaker forms, hats, shawls or other pieces they might loan or part are asked to call Beth Allen at 743-7297 or the church office at 743-2290.
