AUBURN – Margaret “Peggy” Rudd, supreme royal matron, Order of the Amaranth, of Colonial Heights, Va., will visit the Grand Court of Maine on Friday and Saturday, April 14 and 15. She will be escorted by her husband, Past Supreme Royal Patron Claude T. Rudd.

Her official duties will start Friday evening at the Masonic Temple, 1021 Turner St. During the evening, a scholarship award will be presented to a man to help him continue his studies in criminal justice.

Saturday’s work will be conducted by Grand Royal Matron Jean E. Hanington of Benton and her corps of officers from throughout the state and New Hampshire. A luncheon and banquet will be served Saturday in the temple.

Saturday evening will be the open installation of the 2006-2007 officers, who will be headed by Joyce and Lawrence Pringle of Farmington.

Representatives from New Hampshire, Connecticut, Ohio, Virginia, Massachusetts, California and Iowa have made reservations to attend.
