NORWAY – Norman S. Murch, 95, of Hebron, formerly of Mechanic Falls, died Tuesday, April 11, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
He was born in North Baldwin on Aug. 28, 1910, the son of Fred and Ernestine Sanborn Murch. He attended schools in North Baldwin.
He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on June 10, 1942, and was discharged on Dec. 7, 1945. He re-enlisted in March of 1950, and was discharged on April 1, 1953. He started working at Pineland in 1953, and retired in 1973. He made his home with his cousin, Dot McKeen for many years.
