LEWISTON – Post 22, American Legion, will hold a membership meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at the former Post 22 hall, 190 Bates St.
The agenda will include election of officers for the years. There are a few openings for officers. Anyone desiring to become an officer should be present at the meeting.
Election of delegates to the Legion state convention, to be in Bangor on June 12, 13 and 14, will take place. There will be a special celebration of Patriot’s Day. All attending should have patriotic attire for the occasion. Prizes will be given to the winner wearing the best attire.
Service Officer Joseph Paradis will give an update on his quest for a new Post 22 home. The guest speaker for the meeting will be announced. Bert Mathieu will lead the membership in singing patriotic songs. Refreshments will be served.
