LEWISTON – The Jesus Party Pentecostal Kids’ Church celebrated its 11th anniversary in the inner-city on Feb. 10 by introducing a new teaching tool, the flannel graph storyboard.

The ministry has announced the completion of the first lesson, “The Christian Armor.” The nine-week catechism class was well attended and dealt with issues such as truth, righteousness, salvation, faith, spirit and peace.

The second set of classes are due to begin on Friday, April 21. The theme will be “The Two Ways,” which deals with the subject of eternal life. Special guests, David Turmenne. purchaser of the curriculum, and Katie Seguin, who cuts and prepares flannel figures for each lesson, attended a recent gathering.

The Jesus Party is accepting new enrollments for the next set of religious studies. Children must be age 5 and up. For more information, call 786-5568.
