FARMINGTON – Fourteen western Maine artists will open their studios, welcoming spring and art enthusiasts during the second Tour D’Art Open Studio Show and Sale on Friday and Saturday, May 19 and 20.

Artists include Kay Seefeldt, Joyce Dubay, Scott Perry, Marni Lawson, Selina Shields, Leon Gin, Karen Campbell, Kika Nigals, Mary Beth Morrison, John Lovejoy, Mardy Bogar, Lucia Swallow, Emily Hartung and Claudia Diller.

Visitors can drive from one location to the next, where they may meet artists in their own environment, have light refreshments, view paintings, prints and photographs and purchase new work before it is shown on the summer show circuit. Studios are located in downtown Farmington, Farmington Falls, Temple, Industry and New Vineyard.

Hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. May 19 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 20. Flyers with maps and posters indicating participating artists’ studio locations will be available at businesses around western Maine, including the Calico Patch on Broadway, Farmington. and at www.upcountryartists.com.
