AUBURN – Storyteller Dorothy Darling Gatchell will delight daughters of all ages at the sixth annual Mother Daughter Doll Tea from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at the clubhouse of the Woman’s Literary Union, 19 Elm St.

Dolls will be arranged throughout the first floor of the house in arrays of color: “Pretty in Pink,” “Beautiful in Blue” and “Lovely in Lavender.” The young girls can dream of their very special day as they view the display of bride dolls.

Grandmothers and aunts are also invited to attend with granddaughters and nieces or bring a friend to see the historic building. The youngsters are encouraged to bring their own favorite doll and share their stories.

Story times are scheduled for 1:15, 2:15 and 3:15 p.m. Tea, punch and pastries will be available. Admission is $6 for adults and $2 for each child.

Co-chairwomen of the event are WLU President Cathy Westleigh and Vice President Ruth Farnsworth. For more information, call Westleigh at 783-9485.
