LIVERMORE – The Livermore and Livermore Falls Republican Town Committees will hold a joint meeting on Tuesday, May 2, in the Function Room at LakeShore.

The business meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. At 7 p.m., the group will greet guest speaker Scott D’Amboise, GOP candidate for Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. For the past 15 years, he has worked in the medical field as an eye technician.

Prior to that, he worked as a teacher’s assistant in the special education program in the Brewer school system.

D’Amboise is a former selectman for the town of Lisbon and has remained active in his community. He coaches Farm League baseball and has been involved in the Boy Scouts of America for the past 15 years.

He grew up and attended schools in the Bangor area and attended the University of Maine at Orono. Today, he and his wife of 22 years reside in Lisbon with their two children.

Area Republicans are encouraged to join the committees to hear D’Amboise.
