Mexico – Food sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 6, at the Green Church, Main Street. Cookie walk, pastries, breads, and more.

Free golf

Bethel – The golf course at the Bethel Inn Resort opened for the season on April 21, its earliest opening. To celebrate, the inn will offer free golf to Maine residents every Tuesday during May.
