Mr. and Mrs. Roenell Cummings Jr. of West Paris flew to Fort Longwood, Mo., for the graduation of his son, Pvt. Andrew Cummings, of the National Guard. Cummings will continue on to study airborne training.
On April 25, Pvt. Seth Tripp, son of Kenneth Tripp of South Paris and Chris and Bill Cote of West Paris, left for a tour of duty in Germany. He had been home for a week after graduating as a heavy equipment mechanic at the base in Fort Knox, Ky. The family went down for his graduation.
