LEWISTON – After competing in its third season, the Lewiston High School Lady Blue Devils hockey team enjoyed an awards banquet held recently at the Green Ladle.

The meal was prepared by the LHS Culinary Arts Department and sponsored by the Girls Hockey Booster Club.

During the festivities, several members of the ice squad were honored. Rookie of the Year went to Katie Cobb; Most Valuable Player Award to Michelle Rancourt; Unsung Hero Award to Katie Avery; and Coaches’ Award to Kelsey Rodrigue.

Heather Avery was recognized during the evening as the only graduating senior who has played all three years of the team’s existence.
