LEWISTON – Fern Emma Pruiksma, MA, of Lewiston and Chester, N.J., will lead an evening of reflection and discussion on the life of Mary of Nazareth from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 247 Bates St.

The presentation is titled “Mary of Nazareth, the First Disciple – Her Journey and Ours.”

In focusing on Mary in her role as the first disciple, participants will hear presentations on four steps which Mary took in her spiritual journey and will be asked to reflect on the presence of the steps in their life stories.

There will be opportunity in small and large group settings for attendees to share the insights they receive.

Pruiksma is a graduate of the Seton Hall School of Theology in West Orange, N.J., and in a program for spiritual directors of the Center for Spirituality and Justice in New York City.
