OXFORD – The Boxberry School will serve a traditional British afternoon tea on Mother’s Day, May 14. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. There will be two sessions: one for mothers with their young children and one for mothers with their adult children.

Sittings for the younger group will be at 2, 2:30 and 3 p.m., and children are encouraged to bring a special doll or teddy bear. Sittings for the adult group are at 3:30 and 4 p.m.

An assortment of savory and sweet goods will be served along with a cup of tea and lemon aid for the kids.

Seating is limited, and those interested should RSVP to Chris at 743-9700. All proceeds will benefit the Boxberry School, a state-certified, independent elementary school for boys and girls in the Oxford Hills of Maine. For more information on the school, visit www.boxberryschool.org.
