FAYETTE – Noella D. St. Hilaire, 69, of 18 White Birch Lane, Greene, died Monday, May 8, after an accident at the summer cottage.

She was born in Canada on May 7, 1937, the daughter of Adelard and Angeline (Goupil) Brochu. She was educated in Canada.

On May 19, 1956, she married Paul A. St. Hilaire. She worked for more than 37 years in the shoe industry retiring from Falcon Shoe several years ago.

She enjoyed fishing, crafts, gardening, playing cards and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Besides her husband of Greene, she is survived by her father of Sherbrooke, Canada; two daughters, Dianne St. Hilaire, and her companion, David Stover, of Amherst and Nancy and her husband, Michael Macey, of Lewiston; four brothers, Raynald, Emilien, Rene and Robert Brochu, all of Canada; nine sisters, Laurence, Jeannette, Marquerite, Gaetanne, Armande, Lucie, Ginnette, Rollande and Sylvie Brochu, all of Canada; two grandchildren, Joshua and Montana; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother; a stepmother, Simone Lacasse; a son, Raymond St. Hilaire, on Oct. 5, 1996; one sister; and three brothers.
