LISBON – Kenni Norton hit an RBI triple as Mt. Abram posted a 10-6 victory over Lisbon.

Jenn Thomas chipped in with an RBI double for the the Roadrunners (5-3).

Christy McAuliffe led Lisbon (7-3) with a two-run double, while Soleil Mathieu and Emily Moore had doubles.

Dirigo 9, Jay 0

JAY – Ashley Noyes smacked a three-run triple in the seventh inning to help Dirigo cement a 9-0 win over Jay in softball action Thursday afternoon.

Michelle Holmquist contributed a two-run double and ended the day with two hits and four RBIs for the Cougars. Katie Hutchinson fired a two-hitter and struck out eight batters.

The Tigers were led by Liz LeBlanc and Ashley Brooks each a hit apiece.

St. Dom’s 10, Freeport 1

AUBURN – Danielle Jamison hurled seven innings of three-hit softball and received strong support at the plate as St. Dom’s rolled past Freeport 10-1.

Alex Hewitt led the Saints (6-2) with a two-run double, while Mary Lewis and Elisha Dorso belted RBI singles.

Olivia Doane handled pitching duties for the Falcons (2-7).

Richmond 10, Rangeley 2

RANGELEY – Pitcher Amy Russell threw a five-hitter to lead Richmond to a 10-2 victory over Rangeley.

The Bobcats tallied nine consecutive runs, starting with five in the fifth inning, to post the win.

Rangeley pitcher Kate Jamison struggled with her control, walking in four Richmond runs. Jamison had three of the Lakers’ five hits.
