MANCHESTER – A regional one-day household hazardous waste collection will be held Saturday, June 10, at the Town Office on Route 17.
The following communities are participating: Augusta, Belgrade, Hallowell, Litchfield, Manchester, Monmouth, Readfield and Wayne.
Kennebec Valley Council of Governments is assisting with coordination. Environmental Projects Inc. of Gray will collect, recycle and dispose of hazardous materials.
More detailed information on what items can be brought to the drop-off site are available at the town office. Information is also posted on the City of Augusta Web page. www.ci.augusta.me.us.
