LEWISTON – Yolande Therese Coulombe went to be with her “little Jesus” on May 15, 2006 after a 78-year journey.
She was born April 12, 1928, in Brunswick, to Henri and Alida (Allard) Coulombe and had one brother, Raymond R. Coulombe. She was a “special” niece to many aunts and uncles.
The d’Youville Pavilion was her home since 1984, and she had such a loving “family” there, beginning on 1E, then going to 2E and finally on 4E. Everyone there knew and loved her and will never forget the lady with all the pens and rings. She was also lovingly cared for by the caring ladies from Tri-County Mental Health.
Yolande leaves behind her guardian and loving sister-in-law, Cecile Jutras Coulombe; her niece, Janet and husband, Fred Bishop; her nephews, Roland Coulombe and his wife, Patricia, Paul Coulombe and Dennis Coulombe and his wife, Mandi.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother.
