LEWISTON – Lewiston Daisy Troop 1627, a Brownie Girl Scout from Troop 318 and a Wilton Junior Girl Scout from Troop 2213 joined with leaders and parents to show their “Girl Scout Spirit.”
They chose to clean up the track at Montello Elementary School. The Montello track is used by many people for various activities. The project will help the girls earn a Daisy Petal, “Make the World a Better Place,” which is part of the Girl Scout Law.
Sheldon Jones also joined for the cleanup. He is involved in a program through the Lewiston Middle School called the Gang Resistance Education and Training Program. By completing a community service project, he will earn a grade for the GREAT Program.
