Lewiston – Maine’s first lady, Karen M. Baldacci, will provide the keynote address at United Way of Androscoggin County’s annual meeting at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lewiston-Auburn College.
Baldacci’s address will cover literacy in Androscoggin County and across the state of Maine. United Way staff and volunteers will highlight the accomplishments of the past year and recognize outstanding volunteers in the community with the Geneva Kirk and Jim Phillips Awards.
The public is welcome to attend to honor the great work of our community through United Way. The annual meeting will be a buffet breakfast. Advance registration of $10 per person is requested and may be made by calling 795-4000.
