PERU – Graveside service for Ray D Wentzell was held May 24, at the Demeritt Cemetery in Peru with the Rev. John Pillsbury officiating. Military honors were conducted by VFW Post 3335, American Legion Post 10, AMVETS Post 33, Sons of AMVETS Squadron 33. Firing Squad, David Smith, Robert Roy, Richard Moreau, Joe Groomes, Robert Welch, Raoul Laplante. Color Guard, Greg McDonald, Harvey Sabin, Cleon Cook and Bill Therrien. Flag presenter was Donald LeSeur. Arrangements were under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home.
