MECHANIC FALLS – The 12th annual Tri-Town Art Show took place at the Elm Street School on April 27. There were hundreds of works of art displayed throughout the gym representing the students from Elm Street, Minot Consolidated and Poland Community schools.

Kellie Whitten, Mechanic Falls Art instructor and a coordinator of the show, said, “There are more and more art displays every year. It is great to have all these kids participate. The partnering schools (Minot and Poland) all arrived on buses throughout the day so that each child could see their art on display and all the other school displays as well.”

Many parents, families and friends visited during the day-long event, which offered displays of pottery, drawings, abstract art, structure and design, along with projects displaying Egyptian artifacts.
