LEWISTON – Paul and Lorraine Pepin of Lewiston recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary aboard the Royal Caribbean on an Eastern Caribbean cruise. They visited San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Nassau.

A champagne dinner was held aboard the ship “Explorer of the Seas,” with their two daughters and sons-in-law, Denis and Lisa Turgeon and Steve and Paula Tantillo.

Mr. Pepin and the former Lorraine St. Laurent were married on April 14, 1956, at Sacred Heart Church in Auburn. Besides their two daughters, their grandchildren are Jessica, Alexandra, Brittany, Aimee and Tony.

Mrs. Pepin worked for 35 years as a major account manager, retiring in 1998.

Mr. Pepin worked as a lineman for various electrical subcontractors, including Seward Construction and S&L Construction, retiring in 1996.

Since retirement, they have been spending winters in various parts of Florida, traveling in their motor coach and spending their summers at Old Orchard Beach.
