AUBURN – The United Soccer Academy has welcomed Laura Martel to its staff for this summer’s session that will take place July 24-28 at Auburn Middle School.
Martel is a Division 1 scholarship athlete from Lewiston High School who will play for the University of Maine next fall.
The Academy is a day clinic of soccer instruction and competition that runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Other instructors include Erik Wagner, men’s varsity soccer coach at Skidmore College; Butch Dow, goal keeper coach; and Don Plourde, former All-Star soccer player at LHS. They will be joined by high school varsity and collegiate level players.
