AUBURN – Funeral services for Jeanne Gowell, who died May 24, were held Wednesday from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with the Rev. Robert Rose presiding. During the service Jeanne’s favorite hymns, “In the Garden,” “Over the Sunset Mountain” and “Beyond the Sunset” were led by soloist, Wayne Bridgham. Jeanne’s son, Larry, shared words of remembrance with those in attendance and encouraged others following his eulogy to share memories of his Mother in her honor. After a funeral procession to Gracelawn Memorial Park graveside committal prayers were recited by the Rev. Rose. The pallbearers were Chad Holland, Peter Griffey, Dan Jordan, Stephen Cholswa, Maurice Gowell and Richard Gowell. Arrangements by the family owned Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel & Tribute Center.
