HALLOWELL – Alvin Houston, 45, of Lewiston, passed away May 29, in Hallowell after a sudden illness.

He was born Aug. 21, 1961. He loved listening to music, having cookouts, going for rides, playing basketball and doing things for his kids.

“He was my best friend until God called him away.” He will be greatly missed by longtime friend, Diane Poussard; children, daughter, Yolanda Little of Bay Shore, N.Y., son, Martin Houston of Auburn, Theresa Lessard of Lewiston and Isaiah Houston of Auburn. Services will be held in Kansas City, Mo.
