AUGUSTA – The Maine Association of USA Track and Field will holds its (15-18) Championship and Region 1 Qualifying meet for ages 10-under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, on Saturday, June 17 at Cony High School.
The field events will begin at 10 a.m., and the running races at 12 noon. The triathlon, pentathlon, heptahlon and decathlon will be held at 9 a.m. On Sunday, the second day of the heptathlon and decathlon will start at 9:00.
Competitors must be Maine USATF registered and that can be obtained at the meet for $12. Entry fee is $5 for the first event and $4 for each additional event. Registration will begin one hour before the meet.
Entry forms can be downloaded at the Maine USATF Web site at www.meusatf.org, or www.sub5.com.
Competitors must bring a copy of their birth certificate.
