LIVERMORE FALLS – Visible Results will be hosting a walk-athon for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on Friday, June 9.

The walk will begin and end at Visible Results. The route will be about 2 miles long and follow along Route 133 to Jewel Street to Main Street and then back up Route 133.

Cystic fibrosis is a devastating disease that affects about 30,000 adults and children in the U.S. A defective gene causes the body to produce thick, sticky mucus that causes chronic, life-threatening lung infections and impairs digestion.

There is no cure for CF. Money raised in this walk will help keep CF research moving forward.
