MOBILE, Ala. – William E. Bartlett, born Sept. 7, 1927, in Limestone, died on Thursday, June 1, at a local health-care facility. He was retired from Boise Cascade Paper Mill and was a World War II veteran and attended Regency Church of Christ.

He is survived by his children, Eugene T. Bartlett (Ronin), Garry D. Bartlett (Margie) and James W. Bartlett (Sherrell); eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife after 57 years of marriage, Edith Bartlett.
