The front page article May 31 about a fist fight in Kennedy Park and the ensuing gossip over walkie-talkies was, in my opinion, not particularly newsworthy.

That said, what really astounded me was the article buried on page eight about the alleged massacre of 24 innocent Iraqi civilians by U.S. Marines – six months ago. That story was all over CNN the night before.

The potential long-term implications, and the probable cover-up of that heinous act, could adversely affect our country’s already diminished image for years to come.

Where are the Sun Journal’s priorities?
