LISBON – An 82-year-old Lisbon Falls woman Arlene Small was transported to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston Sunday afternoon for evaluation after a single-car crash on Summer Street.

Officer Mark Caron said Small’s injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.

According to Caron, Small was driving west on Summer Street in Lisbon Falls when her car went off the right side of the road, struck a tree and continued on into a utility pole, snapping it in half. Power was disrupted in the area for several hours while crews from Central Maine Power Co. and Verizon made repairs.

Damage to Small’s 2003 Toyota was estimated at $6,000 in the 3 p.m. mishap.
