This is in response to the story about buses not passing inspection (May 30). Thanks to the Sun Journal, we now know how safe the buses really are.

There is no excuse to have our children on unsafe buses. Safety should come first. We cannot run our cars if they don’t pass inspection, why should buses be different?

Let’s make it our goal to keep our children safe.
