Corpus Christi, Texas – Norrine (Martinelli) Stalnik, 43, a former resident of Maine, died very unexpectedly Monday, June 5, due to injuries sustained in a horse riding accident.

She was born in Hartford, Conn., on April 27, 1963, the daughter of Eugene and Norrine (Bowie) Martinelli. She was educated in the schools of Vernon, Conn. She later relocated to Maine. She then moved to Texas, where she married her husband. She was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her time with her family and friends.

She will be remembered as a very bubbly person who loved life. As a lover of horses, she felt privileged to be able to work as a private equestrian trainer. Her hobbies included crafts and dabbling in sewing and crocheting.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Norrine and Walter Arnold of Augusta; her husband, John J. Stalnik of Orange Grove, Texas; three sons, Eugene Ellis of Corpus Christi, Texas, John Stalnik Jr. of Orange Grove, Texas and Jack Stalnik of Orange Grove, Texas; three daughters, Missouri, Madeline and Mia Stalnik, all of Orange Grove, Texas; a sister, Libra Martinelli Larson of Suffield, Conn.; stepbrothers, David Martinelli of Manchester, Peter Martinelli of Bethlehem, Ga. and Sam Miles of Bel Air, Md.

She was predeceased by her father, Eugene Martinelli in 1979.
