LAKEWORTH, Fla. – Fern Cote, 77, of Green Acres, died June 5.

She was born on March 22, 1929, in Lewiston, the daughter of August and Alma Jean. She and her late husband, Paul Cote, resided in Lewiston until 1988, where they raised their four children.

She had resided in Florida for the past 18 years. She is a parishioner of St. Mathews R.C. Church of Lake Worth.

She is survived by a close companion, Richard Drobot; two sons, Norman Cote of North Palm Beach and Jerry and wife, Ellen Cote, of Paris, France; two daughters, Venise and husband, Steve Minkowsky, of Orrs Island and May Cote of Lisbon Falls; three grandchildren, Scott Minkowsky of Boston and Nicole and Paul Cote of Paris; two brothers, Roland Jean of Nevada and Jerry Jean of Florida; and two sisters, Noella Landry Poisson of Lewiston and Muriel Leblond of Waterville.
