I am writing in support of the candidacy of Ed Desgrosseilliers for Senate District 15 in Tuesday’s Democratic primary.

I have had a direct opportunity to observe Ed’s strong and effective leadership as the chairman of the Auburn Democratic Committee. Ed has also demonstrated his dedication to bettering his community through his involvement with many civic efforts and community organizations.

I have been impressed with Ed’s strong grasp of the issues that Mainers face, whether it is ensuring a fair and equitable tax system, creating good jobs while also assuring a healthy environment, access to affordable health care for all or quality education for our children and youth.

Ed will listen to the needs of the constituents of Senate District 15 and will bring straight talking, common sense leadership to the Maine Senate and work hard to address the real issues for Mainers.
