DURHAM – Angela Dunn Gould, 54, passed away at her home in Durham, June 12.
She was born in Winston-Salem, N.C., to James Wilson and Ella Lashmit Dunn. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelor of science degree in home economics and worked several years in the textile industry. Her devotion to Christ led her to forsake a career in textile to provide a Godly home for her husband and two daughters. She was well-known for her mastery of the domestic arts and her warm southern hospitality.
She and her family moved to Maine in 1987, and with five other families helped establish the Brunswick Church of the Brehtren, located at 142 Pleasant St., Brunswick.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, James L. Gould; and her daughters, Mary Ella Hanson and husband, Jonathan, of Fayettevile, Pa., and Sarah Minnich and her husband, Joshua, of Lisbon Falls.
She will be greatly missed by her friends, family and church family.
