RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Joyce C. Palton of Roxbury Pond was celebrated Saturday at St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Angelo LeVasseur as celebrant. Organist was Mark Belanger. A reading was given by Anna Justard. Eulogists were sister-in-law, the Rev. Nadine Strout, grandson, Joel Riley, and lifelong friend of the family and co-worker, Luanne Taylor. Attending was also a delegation from St. Timothy Circle No. 504, Daughters of Isabella. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Angelo LeVasseur. Interment was at St. John Cemetery, Rumford. A reception followed the funeral mass at the Parish Hall of St. Athanasius-St John Church. Arrangements were under the care of Meader and Son Funeral Home.
