BUCKFIELD – Philip McAlister defeated incumbent Selectman Oscar Gammon for a three-year term Tuesday by a vote of 170-124.

Roger Bennett received 30 votes.

Gammon won the three-year assessor post, and Nicholas DiMaio won a three-year term as SAD 39 director. Judy Berg got 29 write-in votes for another seat on the board.
