FARMINGTON – Mildred A. Hubbell, 79, of Jay, a former longtime resident of Shelton, Conn., entered into rest on Tuesday, June 13, at the Franklin Memorial Hospital. She was the devoted wife of the late Edwin D. Hubbell.

She was born in Shelton on March 31, 1927, the daughter of the late Daniel J. Sullivan Sr. and Alma Nielson Sullivan, and she lived in Shelton until 1985, when she moved to Maine.

She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother.

She is the beloved mother of Karen O’Donnell and her husband, Jack, Diane Hubbell, Anne Marie Keefe, Cheryl Hubbell, Edwinna Hubbell, Suzanne DeZolt, Joseph Hubbell and Sally Hubbell; a brother, Stephen Sullivan; 16 loving grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Edwin D. Hubbell Jr.; two brothers, Daniel and Dennis Sullivan; and her sister, Catherine Hildebrand.
