Amy Howard was awarded a bachelor of science degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on May 20. Howard graduated magna cum laude with honor in both of her majors, dance and social work.

While a senior, Howard interned at Family Planning Advocacy of New York State. During her junior year she was inducted in the Periclean Society and studied in Milan, Italy.

Howard will begin her master of social work studies this summer at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She is a 2002 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and the daughter of Maureen and Jim Howard of Otisfield.
