WALES – Funeral services were held Saturday, June 17, for Al Siderio Jr. at the Wales Central School. The Rev. Jay Hodge and the Rev. Carl Geores Jr. officiated at the service. Organist was Amanda Chick. Hymn selections were “How Great Thou Art” and Here I Am, Lord.” Daughters Bethany and Jessica sang “I Can Only Imagine.” Family members that shared memories were his wife Linda, his son Tony and daughters Bethany, Jessica and Christina, also a son-in-law Jeffery Chick. Memories were also shared by friends. Clayton Merrill played “Taps” at the cemetery and John Daggett played the bagpipes. Pallbearers were Mike Tardif and Sean Estabrook of the Wales Fire Dept., Jim Avery and Russ Merchant of the Sabattus Fire Dept, Bruce Sanford and Bruce Tufts of the Greene Fire Dept., Jeffrey Bachelder and Dale Holt of the Leeds Fire Dept and Kevin Buckmore and Lee Goruais of the Litchfield Fire Dept.; honorary pallbearer’s of the Wales Fire Dept. were Bill Austin, Ryan Walk, Alan Thomas, Kevin Burgess, Paul Burgess Jr., Mike Allen, Chuck Higgins, Dave Cranton, Tony Bickford, Dan Fortin, Dave O”Connel and Zack Ailliard. Interment at Monmouth Ridge Cemetery in Monmouth. Fire departments attending the service were Wales, Minot, Monmouth, Sabattus, Litchfield, Leeds, Greene, Durham, Winthrop, Lisbon, Mechanic Falls, Turner and Lewiston; also Monmouth Rescue, United Ambulance, State Fire Marshal’s office, Med Care, Monmouth Police Dept., Androscoggin Sheriff’s Dept. and Winthrop Police Dept. Arrangement by Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home, Monmouth.
