AUBURN – The White Sox exploded for 6 runs in the fifth inning and went on to defeat the Green Wave 13-4 Sunday in the Men’s Senior Baseball League (over 30). The key hit was a 2-run double by Dan Coleman.

The Pale Sox also tallied 3 runs in the 8th as Jim Wacenski whacked a 2-run double.

Repeat hitters for the Green Wave were Randy Targett and Jessie Beckwith. For the winners, Mike Brennan, winning hurler Sean Cheetham, Coleman and Steve Labossiere all rapped 2 safeties.

The White Sox, now 3-1, will host the Litchfield Dodgers Sunday at 9 a.m. at Pettengill Park.
