Sunday worship

FARMINGTON – All are welcome to join the congregation for worship at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, June 25, at Henderson Memorial Baptist Church as Pastor Susan Crane addresses peace in her message.

Bean supper

CARTHAGE – The Carthage Historical Society will hold a bean supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 23, at the Carthage Town Office building. The menu also includes outdoor baked biscuits, casseroles and pies. Cost is adults, $6; ages 12 and under, $3.

Grange to elect

LIVERMORE – New Norlands Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at the hall. The subordinate district deputy, Wesley Ryder, will be present. Election of officers will be held, and a program on the flag will be presented. Refreshments will be served.

Jam session

DIXFIELD – Friday night free jam sessions at the Countryfolk Music Theatre on Route 2 in East Dixfield continues to showcase local talent from 5 to 9 p.m.

Special guest performer this week will be former Rumford native and recording artist Terry Moore, who will perform from 8 to 9 p.m. following the jam session. Moore resides in Livermore Falls and is recording a new CD of original Maine music.

Country Sunday jam sessions are also held each week throughout the summer from noon to 6 p.m. All country, bluegrass, folk and gospel musicians and singers are invited. For more information, call 645-4875.
