Recently, I read an article on intelligence gathering that mentioned, “The British learned of Hitler’s top-secret V-2 rocket program from a good source in 1940, but refused to believe it until German missiles hit London in 1944, killing thousands.”

We’ve been caught napping, Winston Churchill thundered.

In this country, we are now faced with intelligence that Iran is preparing a nuclear bomb. To Democrats, that is no big deal.

What if Iran annihilates Israel three or four years from now? Top Iranian officials have already made it clear that that is their goal. They then announce to Americans, “You’re next.”

Far-fetched? Maybe.

Should such an attack happen, God forbid, what would the liberals/socialists, Democrats say?

My guess is that they would claim that President Bush was asleep in 2006, or query why didn’t Bush do something before then?
