AUBURN – A teen fell asleep at the wheel and ended up in a graveyard.

He wasn’t injured, though.

Jacob M. Mailloux, 17, of Turner was driving along Turner Road shortly before 7 a.m. Monday when he apparently dozed off, according to police records. The 2002 Chevrolet SUV he was driving veered off the road into a cemetery and clipped several headstones.

Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $10,000; to the monuments, unknown.

Mailloux was wearing a seat belt.
